Out of graduate school when I was asked to list the domains I’d be interested in working into, I didn’t have a list or one name. I loved the idea of placing myself in an extremely new, exciting and mostly less explored space as my target is to be a coveted leader of the future and not just right now. Living by the Mantra of being #NotSoBasic is always challenging, but leads to the most exciting results. In my observation, Fylamynt with a motive of bringing in disruption into the Infrastructure practices is certainly a startup of the future.

Fylamynt climbed to be at the top of my interests of #NotSoBasic organizations and spaces for 3 reasons:

  1. I could not figure the entire product out in one go, that challenged me to keep exploring more.
  2. The use cases targeting the pain points that many were talking about but nobody knew the solution to.
  3. Not being the perfect fit right away, didn’t stop me from retrying and learning.

DevOps- The two cents that can multiply:

Devops, an ethos that blends software developers and production IT professionals entails a complex set of jobs and high risk responsibilities. With automation observing the first hand impacts in this segment every initiative, that matters becomes a trend. New features, new integrations, new partnerships, it is now under a microscope to ensure unprecedented exponential growth. Automation is trending and more coveted with a scope for feed-back and feed-forward.

But as we know disruption is never without challenges.Let’s check what some of those are in this context:

  1. DevOps/ Infrastructure representatives and practitioners use dynamic, service oriented and open source infrastructures.
  2. DevOps/ Infrastructure representatives want to deploy service very quickly.
  3. Maintaining consistency, scale, partitioning, velocity and structure during automation which coding cannot offer while ensuring speed of execution.
  4. The multi-channel operation and the end product for DevOps, especially with the world moving Cloud first sees a disconnect in the requirement and execution.
  5. Automation is like Agile, nobody has been able to adopt or act 100%.

DevOps-Living the FYLAMYNT life:

Reviewing some important statistics to attest that this market is booming:

  1. According to Gartner, the average cost of IT downtime is $5,600 per minute. Because there are so many differences in how businesses operate, downtime, at the low end, can be as much as $140,000 per hour, $300,000 per hour on average, and as much as $540,000 per hour at the higher end.
  2. Worldwide end-user spending on public cloud services is forecast to grow 18.4% in 2021 to total $304.9 billion, up from $257.5 billion in 2020, according to Gartner, Inc.
  3. Companies using Cloud Automation experience a 15% year-over-year revenue growth.

While trying to understand more about this market I began observing use cases that included Infrastructure as Code, Workflow Management, Hybrid Cloud Deployment and Incident Response. My primary impression was that for a Cloud infrastructure representative to deal with such complex workflows they have to go back and forth between various tools that maintain continuous and seamless delivery. Comprehending and collaborating with different tools for multiple use cases and operations is a challenge in itself. These while managing customer requirements of speed, reliability and uninterrupted engagement are a nightmare to every DevOps professional.

Fylamynt steps in to make the rather dull and difficult lives of the Infrastructure representatives easy and effective!

⭐️ Want to map the most challenging alerts quickly, use the Visual Workflow Editor!

⭐️ Want to ensure your alerts are managed without your presence, use the Workflow Scheduling!

⭐️ Want to create a cohesive yet seamless work structure in no time, use the Pre-Built Integrations & Templatized Workflows!

⭐️ Want to track the right associations, use the Execution History checking feature!

But what appeals to me the most is how all these features come together to reduce the complexity of DevOps and Infrastructure Teams’ jobs to make most critical tasks and functions smooth. The construction and the comprehension of this product is certainly set to disrupt the Operations space.

DevOps- Always Eager for More:

As important it is to set a product for success capitalizing on the strengths, it is extensively critical to watch over the backs. With products like Brainboard staring in the eye with a competitive grit, a sound product like Fylamynt must differentiate, encapsulate and grow steadily to beat the rest.

What’s the New Routes for Fylamynt?

  • Plan for and bring in exciting features and ideas to keep the product upbeat and coveted.
  • Creative and Innovative marketing initiatives to reach the target audience.
  • Focus on the market differentiator and use it as a weapon in the battleground.
  • Become the household name for building seamless, code-free, effective and quick infrastructure workflows.
  • Target the Infrastructure Operations’ community to reach the organizations
  • Build predictive but in demand workflows to spike demand

The gist of it all is that there is a bright future for Fylamynt by the virtue of how it operates to combat the real challenges of DevOps and Infrastructure teams. Fylamynt aligns with the motive of viewing opportunity as a stepping stone to achieve a bigger milestone.
